I'm giving 1 star for breadth of selection. Otherwise, I'd give none. This place is a total train wreck. It's a mess, the sales staff have very limited product knowledge, and the management is wholly disengaged. I went in for a return and found no one working in the customer service department. I waited for several minutes then asked for help at the front of the store. And waited several more minutes. Then knocked on the door of the office. A surly, uninterested "manager"(?) came to the door and said he couldn't help me, that I needed to get help from someone on the floor. I pointed out that I had knocked on a door that indicates "Office." He told me it's not THAT kind of office. So I confirmed that he doesn't interact with customers and he said that was correct. A retail manager in the store's office who does not help customers?! That's pretty crazy. Eventually, I learned that the single person assigned to work at the customer service area was home sick. (Funny, there were plenty of workers in the checkout line.) Also, I know from direct previous experience that Fry's corporate office is terrible at paying vendors. So maybe all these horrible employees are getting paid (and treated?) poorly as well. But that's still no excuse to take it out on customers. No wonder Amazon keeps winning. You're better off to do your own research and order online.

Always able to find decent help they're always willing to do a price match check they don't price match everybody but the scan it in the computer and if it comes up cheaper anywhere else to give you that price needed help finding a chord to go from phone to axillary input for the car stereo it's just a double headed headphone jack cable even though he worked in the video Department he still walk me down to the proper I'll showed me where they were and then asked if he wanted me to get someone in that department to help me that was very nice of them. Some of their stuff is a little pricey at Fry's but you can normally find a pretty good deal if you Bargain shop or have price checks done online Amazon is a good one to pull up

It was HUGE! The guy in electronics tried to upsell us by saying the advertised product we asked for was, "no good". He then said, "We sent all of those back". He then showed us an item three, (yes 3) times the amount of the sale item. I asked him to check the back because we drove over an hour. Guess what? He found the, "last one". Yeah, right!! Everyone else was great tho.

Hands down the worst black Friday experience I've ever had. Employees were few and far between in the sales floor, and for the most part were just milling around aimlessly. We waited in line for FOUR HOURS! It was a disorganized mess! They have over 30 registers, and less than half were being used. No one apologized, nothing was said once we reached the register except "yikes, you've got a lot of stuff." The cashier proceeded to ring up a cart full of items, stack them on the counter and then say "so do you want a bag?" I get black Friday is crazy, but we got there at 3pm, long after the opening morning rush. The only good things I can say are that the prices and the selections are really good, but even considering that I can't see myself going back there ever again.

If something seems too good to be true... I went in to buy a camera to record my toddler son's first dance recital. They were out of the one I wanted, so I was going to leave. I was then offered a newly refurbished camera of the model we went in to purchase. I was apprehensive to purchase a refurbished model so I asked my spouse to come over and we discussed the purchase. The person helping us stated that the camera had been well tested and threw in a warranty for us, just in case. Right in the middle of the recital the camera died. It was just suddenly toast. I took it back in to Fry's and they did not care. Oh, and the 'warranty' covered nothing. Refurbished cameras make great doorstops.
