Story

Fujiya Japanese Restaurant opened its doors on April 2, 1984, at its present location: 1125 Court C in Downtown Tacoma by Masahiro Endo. It is the Tacoma’s first and/or original sushi restaurant as Mr. Endo’s pioneering spirit has created tremendous opportunities for many other Japanese restaurants throughout the local Puget Sound area and beyond. His art of sushi has been passed on to many of whom are learning to be sushi chefs, and he continues to share his experience and knowledge.

Fujiya offers the special hand-selected assortment of fresh fish as well as both traditional and modern Japanese cuisines. Fujiya has been rated as one of the Tacoma’s BEST business lunch locations!

Fujiya ジャパニーズ・レストランは、1984年、ワシントン州、タコマ市で、最初の日本料理店として開店しました。それから30年以上、在米日本人には、心のオアシスとして愛され、同時に地域に住むアメリカ人、その他色々な国からお越しのお客様に、料理だけではなく、日本の食文化や伝統を紹介するパイオニアとして認知されています。
