We love this place and will go back. Today was a disappointment.  Long wait for a table (not a problem because it's Mother's Day). Longer wait for food which was so cold and tough I couldn't eat it. My wife got her salad and I needed to learn a little more Grace in my life so next time will be better I'm sure. The waiter comped the food so I'm good. Like I said , we love this place and will go back.

Wow - what a great meal!  We wanted a seafood place within walking distance from the Courtyard Marriott and picked it because it was so close. The food was amazing and it’s right on the water.   We had the seafood/crab dip and mussels for appetizers and they were amazing.  The entrees were even better!  Fresh and delicious.   Especially the crab Mac and cheese!  Loved the fried green beans!  Highly recommend - don’t miss this gem when you are in Tacoma!

The waiter that we had was amazing. Even though it was Mother's Day, he was attentive throughout our meal. He kept up with our drinks and brought our entrees piping hot from the kitchen. It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend The Fish Peddler to anyone.

Ate there twice in one day. Many seafood options, including a fresh fish market, outdoor seating options overlooking the water. Casual, not too expensive. Has parking. Friendly staff. Food was excellent, notably the seafood stew.

I love halibut and chips!  I ordered the halibut and chips and received deep fried pieces of batter.  It was as if someone took bits of fish, squished them together and dropped it into the fryer.  I like to see the quality of the fish fillets used and to let the pieces cool off a bit.  When I cut the pieces with a fork, they collapsed as if the fish served was a slurry without substance inside the batter.
