I am very torn with this review because the people seemed very nice and competent. Though I had my leaf springs replaced and was estimated 127 dollars labor. Do to a worker at O’Reilly auto parts I brought the wrong u bolts. When I showed up to the shop my once bill of 127 dollars was now 370. This jump in price was based on the bolts having to be custom made and overnighted. It was disappointing to not be called for verification on a price jump this big. It was also disappointing doing a google search and finding tons of websites selling the needed u bolt kits for 20-50 dollars. I can not imagine that anyone working at the shop would go this route with a family member or their personal vehicles. But being a customer I guess you are just a source of income. I am not saying this is a bad shop this is just my personal experience.

Awesome and honest mechanics. They now how to take care of their customers the right way without breaking the bank.

There are plenty of shops in Lawrence but I'll ONLY go to Garber because of the owner's (Micah Garber) very honest and friendly approach with his customers and how it is obviously being adopted by every person that works at the shop. I know for a fact that my vehicles will be diagnosed right and they will try to keep the expenses in mind.

Reiterating another recent review about rudeness, I made an appointment for Thursday and planned to just drop it off before they opened. I ended up having to cancel, so when I called Wednesday afternoon to do so I was met with an attitude that "actually my appointment was today (Wednesday) and I had missed it." Since I know there's no way I could have gone without a car that day (existing appointments), I was floored by her adamant response that I was wrong. Glad to be giving my money to someone else.
