Rick is hands-down the best mechanic in Lawrence, and perhaps the best I have ever encountered. I have taken my car to him for mostly oil changes and tire rotations, which he does cheaper if not the same price as just about everyone else. Even if he did charge a bit more than everyone else, I would still take my car to him becuase I know he will do it right. He is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what he is doing. I came to him with what I thought was a dead starter motor (which he originally quoted for more than half of what a local dealership wanted) but tested everything he could think of in order to save me from replacing something that didn't need replaced. It ended up being a bad battery, and he saved me hundreds of dollars. He explained everything he tried and is very transparent, he will not try to sell you anything you don't need. Rick is a true man of integrity and does fantastic work, I will take my vehicle to him for as long as he is in Lawrence.

Owner/mechanic very helpful. Out of 6 quotes, next to the lowest.  Repair done quuckly.

Rick took a look at my son's car to verify that it was safe to drive after a minor collision. Wouldn't accept payment for his time even though it was certainly fair to charge for the service.  It certainly makes me have faith that he is an honest business person and he will be the first person I call for any needs in the future.

All I can tell you is that this is the guy you want to take your car to for repairs. Me and my family have been taking our vehicles to Ricks shop for years, and we enjoy how respectful and honest he is with great prices. No other Mechanic Shops compares to Ricks! Great guy
