In my opinion, best views of St.Louis. Especially if you love taking pictures. The road to get here is sketchy but worth it. The city needs to revamp the area surrounding it. I'm really surprised this only has 13 reviews. Very underrated park. Go and check it out.

Good stop. The view area is nice, but they made it a multiple level ramp with no stair option. The public restrooms are clean, but a bit of a walk away. According to my iPhone 6 with AT&T service the show started a minute early & ended that way as well. Recommend arriving 5-10 minutes before the time on the website to be able to walk for the view.

I stopped in here on my way thru the area and was really glad I did. This is an awesome sight! It's not far off the interstates that crisscross east St. Louis so if you time it right it makes a nice short break to stretch your legs before hitting the road again. What I saw of East St Louis driving in was a bit tired looking, but the park itself seemed well mantained. There is a large handicap accessible overlook near the river that offers a nice post card view of the St. Louis skyline. The fountain itself is located further from the river, just look for the large concrete cone on the right of th parking area. The four jets surrounding the main one start about 5 minutes before the hour, and the main jet then runs for about ten minutes. It reaches its full height in three steps and stays there for the whole time, there's no fancy choreography or anything but it really doesn't need it due to the sheer size of it! Very impressive. I wasn't sure what 600 ft would look like but let's just say big, even after it had been going for a while you could still get a sense of WOW from the sheer height. When it stopped I tried to count how long it took for the water to fall to the pool below and it was something like 10 seconds! Just imagine water falling for ten seconds.... Anyway I'd def recommend this to anyone passing thru who needs a breather or who likes water features, it seems somewhat little known but as the second tallest fountain in the WORLD and highest in North America it's nothing to sneeze at.

Good view of the arch with a live cam that can be viewed from the web, the geyser was not on so we forgot it was there. Would have been nice to see.
