OVERALL: I would definitely go here again.

PROS: A well-kept park off the beaten path. Great views of the arch. The cool structure you can stand on for great pictures. Also, your family/friends can go online and see you live! So that was fun.

CONS: No shade at the park. The roads getting to the park need some serious help -- very crumbly and not well marked.

I love this place! We got engaged here, so it is so very special to us. It is really cool placement across from the arch.

Excellent place to see the whole arch and the downtown area. I stayed late there and felt little unsafe. But with cameras monitoring everywhere and a security guard around- not scary though.

Super Photogenic place for sunsets and the arch. Also, huge water fountain. Go go go go.

Great view of the Gateway arch from the Illinois side. It was unfortunate that we arrived there in the early evening so we weren't able to get some great shots. We went back the next day at around noon and got some great pictures. Not crowded and great view of downtown St. Louis.
