This is the only place to view the Arch from the East side of the River. Train tracks and a large wall occupy the river front and there for obstruct the view quite badly. 

It is a very nice platform to view downtown St. Louis and the Gateway Arch. Was not crowded and provides a great photo opportunity.

Handicap friendly! The observation deck consists of a very large ramp all the way to the top.

Plentiful parking, easy access, and wonderful view of the Gateway Arch. Be forewarned, though, that your entry/exit may be delayed by trains coming in/out of the area. There are only two ways in/out, but one was blocked by construction, so we had to wait.

Beautiful view of the arch and river, but roadways into and out of are in very poor condition. Accessibility is difficult.
