Story

Ginger is a fast-casual take on fine-dining quality Asian cuisine. You build your own customized bowl of only your favorite fresh ingredients from start to finish, so that your meal is specifically tailored for you. After choosing your rice, protein and vegetables you top the dish off with one or more of our hand-made sauces, which are prepared on-site with only the freshest produce and highest quality ingredients. Combine this with a very exclusive ready-to-order sushi menu and you have Ginger Hibachi Grill. Keeping the balance between authentic Asian classic themes and innovative contemporary ideas is how the entire restaurant is designed. We take traditional techniques and flavors from a variety of Asian cuisines, and allow you to fuse them together with a modern twist, creating a sensational assortment of customizable dishes that are guaranteed to stand out from any other fast-casual restaurant.

My friends and I have enjoyed Ginger many times in the past. However, the customer service does not line up. My friend recently purchased a bowl from Ginger and the cashier swiped her card/charged her four times the amount of the meal. After calling and going to the restaurant a couple times each, she still was not able to get her money back, being told the manager was not there and to come back "later". I enjoy their Asian food but it is not worth their inconsiderate behavior towards their customers.

New promotion is MISLEADING!

I got my order taken as soon as I stepped to the counter. However, I waited several minutes for the cashier to ring me up. He ignored me, walked near me and away from me on several occasions. Eventually, he decided to ring me up.

Recently, Ginger added a promotion, "Buy 9 bowl, get 1 free!!! (minimum order $6.75)" I ordered a mini-bowl and sushi, making my total double the minimum order price. When I presented the card to the cashier, he just said "$6.75"... I'm thinking, "What the hell? I just paid $13. There's definitely a misunderstanding here." I pointed out that I ordered a bowl and paid more than the minimum amount, the cashier still wouldn't stamp my card. Tired of trying to reason with the guy, I left with my food dazed and confused.

Looking more closely on the promotion card, it DOES NOT SPECIFY what kind of bowl you need to purchase. It also DOES NOT SAY that the BOWL has to be $6.75, it's the ORDER! Loss of translation = loss of customer.

I love this restaurant. I eat here almost every day. Its delicious, quick, and fairly priced. The location is super convenient, the staff is nice, and the food is consistently good in store and delivery.
