Girin Korean Ssam Bar offers an exquisite take on elevated authentic Korean cuisine. Located in the historical Pioneer Square at Stadium Place, Girin's beautifully designed interior greets you with a serene garden and fountain, separating the full-service lounge and the elegant dining room. Girin SteakHouse is a modern expression of classical Korean cuisine. Chef Brandon Kirksey applies contemporary cooking techniques to traditional dishes, presenting an elevated yet authentic Korean culinary experience.

Came here on a Thursday night around 7pm with a friend. Many empty tables but the food and service was great. My friend has a fish allergy and we let the server know ahead of time. When the server brought the side dishes she let us know which ones may contain fish. We used the check in for the free gyoza and those were really good. The server checked back on us several times and refilled the side dishes that ran low.

Came here for Friday night dinner date, it was a great experience! We got the chef tasting menu, and everything was fantastic! They accommodated my GF needs & did the tasting perfectly. The drink was great, steak was so delicious... You gotta try the Korean way of enjoying it! ;) The dessert... Omg, it's some custard with orange & nuts.... Totally unicorn magic! Will for sure come here again!

Contemporary presentation of Korean cuisine with a very reasonably priced lunch menu. Best combination of food and ambiance for Korean food in Seattle proper. Great for taking folks from out of town who have been touring downtown/waterfront Seattle.

Girin is great for groups. I have come here several times with a large group, and it's worth it to order family style. The food is delicious, but not mind-blowing. It's a little out of the way if you're not going to an event in Sodo. That being said, both times I went I was in the area already, and both times I left very satisfied with my meal.

The tasting menu has the best value out of several other tasting menus offered by "high end" restaurants in Seattle. Servers will bring out the food rather quickly though, so come with an appetite. Great contemporary Korean food. No need to grill your own KBBQ here!
