Mission

The mission of the Foundation Advancing Creation Truth and its related ministries is to glorify God as Creator and Sustainer, emphasize man's accountability to Him, and challenge the hearer/visitor to think through the humanistic concept of evolution. Currently this is achieved through the Fossil Digs at Glendive where fossil excavation of dinosaur bones is done in the context of the flood of Noah's day.

For the people giving 1 star for not being based on science, give it a break. I myself am not a person of religion, but I still had fun taking my 2 year old. This is a small town museum, in the middle of Gods Country, church is big around here. Its great if you have kids, and want to see something different. If you are "offended" by this museum, then why not go start your own? You don't see people from these small towns complaining that the big city museums are too sci-ency do you? no. Take the religion part of the museum and look past it, like i said, its a great small town museum for young kids to explore. GET OVER IT. Great place you guys!

Its sad to see so many people brainwashed into believing this nonsense. When I went, I filled multiple pages of notes of claims that this "museum" makes and I explain in detail how it is wrong and examples of where it has already been debunked. One example is the claim that dinosaur soft tissue and blood cells were discovered. Paleontologist Mary Schweitzer, the lady who discovered this supposed soft tissue, publicly stated that it wasn't soft tissue. It is, in fact, proteins that were somewhat pliable when exposed to certain chemicals. The only part of the museum that I found that didn't contain either complete lies or religious dogma was the section on the top floor that talked about paleontology and how the fossils are excavated. My advice, do some of your own research and don't just blindly follow based on authority.

Was a bit unsure when I saw it was a Christian facility but once I walked in I was nothing but impressed! For as small as it looked from the outside it was really amazing. So many full size dinosaurs skeletons. Great exhibits! Nice presentations. From what I could tell it gives all of the traditional info but it also shows you a Christian alternative. Several of their theories left me feeling the need to do more research. I plan to go back next year and join the for a dig. Well worth the stop.

I loved how they showed that Jesus actually rode a Stegosaurus into Jerusalem and that this was a more accurate translation of a ‘colt’. Also, the evidence for the earth being hollow was presented in a very dramatic fashion. I liked the journey to the center of the earth exhibit.
