This gym has shady business practices. I joined when it was 24 hour fitness. The monthly rate was reasonable, but discovered they were overcharging my credit card with additional fees I didn’t agree to when it became Golds. I told them to reverse the fees or I’m canceling. They were indifferent so I tried to cancel. I was advised I needed to cancel in person and they would not accept a cancellation over the phone. Shady. Do yourself a favor and join a gym that has some customer service instead of this huge ego place.

There's no shower curtains- the open shower stalls are humiliating. The p*n*s-shaped-shower-heads have visible green mold on them. There's visible green mold on the corners-of-walls that run down to the floor. Just GROSS! A sure place to get gangrene on feet. It's quiet a sh***y way to keep people away from taking showers after work-out (probably to save money). People can't take a shower and change into business attire for work; instead they have to drive all the way back home to shower & get ready, which is time/gas wasting. There's no paper towel dispensers near the sinks in the locker room. The air blowers don't do justice. The work-out music selection consist of depressing songs- and the songs are played on a blown sub-woofer that's very distracting.

Just went by a few days ago to get information about the gym and what they had to offer. This was all I wanted but unfortunately I'd to provide my personal information and now they're calling me like crazy - even though I want to make a decision in silence. I tell you what, this is just the absolutely perfect way to scare customers away. Another thing that I don't really get is that all new customers have to pay an additional fee of $50? Like, I'm only going to be in America for a few more months so it's just not worth it. I'm sorry!

Spinning classes are great. Wish they had more. New equipmwnt coming in lately which is great.

I really like this particular Golds. First of all, the amount of natural light is very refreshing. I get easily intimidated at gyms, but don't feel that way here. Although there are people who could be body builders, it is never very busy so you don't have to wait to use the equipment you want. Locker rooms could use an update, but don't really care about that.
