After easily signing up online, the first day I come into the gym the front desk associate was incredibly rude.

I decided this gym was not a good fit for me and I wanted to cancel my membership. When I called in I was told I had to come by the gym to speak to the operations manager whom was only available Mon - Friday between 10 am - 5pm. My first day off I come by to cancel the membership I was told the operations manager was working at a different location due to lack of staff. I filled out paperwork as directed by the front desk associate and was assured "Alex" would call me and follow up on cancelling my membership. Almost a month later I look at my account and see that my bank account has been charged again for the membership that I cancelled.

So I call the store and ask why this wasn't cancelled. The girl answering the phone seemed as though she didn't have any information other than that "Alex" might be there tomorrow. I told her I wanted the name of someone else since this wasn't taken care of and for some reason she seemed to laugh and said, "honestly, I would just call back if I were you".

Some of the poorest customer service I have ever encountered.

Didn't use the gym a ton but always had a good experience when I did. Their staff is very friendly. I highly recommend their classes. The layout of the gym could be better and you definitely need to know when the busy hours are in order to avoid them. After we had to move, Matt was awesome and let me out of my contract without a hassle. Overall, a very positive experience.

I had a billing issue with a mistake made on our account  by Golds Asheville Hendersonville Rd which was resolved by Matt and Sean in a professional manner. It required a bit more effort for Matt than expected because he had to get corporate to approve it. I'm happy with a great outcome to me as the consumer. Thank you Matt P. for great customer service!

Gold's just changed their hours to 11 p.m. through the week and 8 p.m. on the weekends with less than a months notice. Part of the reason i go to golds is because it is 24 hours, i guess it is now time to rethink my membership with them.

Good facility, some few of the elipticals could use some repair.  Late night employees could be alittle nicer.  Sometimes don't even greet you when they scan you in, but I guess that's the Golds brand for you.
