Went today for my 6 yr old. Fast service and both doctor and nurses were patient and compassionate. My son is non verbal, on the spectrum and panics easily. Receptionist was very helpful as well. Great place.

DONT GO HERE. Literally waited for 3 hours in the waiting room. They kept changing the wait time from an hour, to two hours, to not even knowing how long. Also only had one doctor seeing patients apparently?! I finally got fed up and went to better med in Mechanicsville. Only 15 minutes away and literally no wait at all. My whole visit lasted less than 30 minutes! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, GO TO BETTER MED INSTEAD.

This place just isn't professional and doesn't care about your health. Went in told the nurse my concerns and waited to see doctor. Doctor walks in and says you have a cold buddie before even checking my throat or anything. So I left out with no medication or being professionally checked after the doctor made an determination prior to seeing me. Well went to another clinic because Good Health Express isn't professional especially the so call doctor I saw. I have an sinus infection and strep throat after being professional checked elsewhere. Don't waste your time going here if sick!

I took my 5 year old for a sinus infection. Dr. said it was allergies, but when I asked if it could be viral or bacterial instead because I had the exact same symptoms, he refused to answer and left. He came back with a Rx for antibiotics. I asked why if it was allergies would we need antibiotics and he didn’t explain. He told me to put hydrocortisone my son’s chapped lip and I asked d that was safe for ingestion because he was licking his lip without knowing it. He told me that he was 5 and wouldn’t do it after the first time. I checked with our pharmacist who looked it up and advised that not only is it not approved for use on the face, it absolutely is not approved for ingestion. I gave them another try after my sinus infection did not resolve and turned into bronchitis. Unfortunately I got the same doc who had seen my child. He told me even though I’d been sick for over 2 months, it was probably just viral and antibiotics would not help but might make me feel better because they were anti-inflammatory. I specifically told him I was taking mucinex DM which has cough medicine in it. He prescribed a cough medicine for night with the exact same medicine and did not tell me to discontinue the mucinex DM when using the cough medicine, and as a result I was double dosed. He also prescribed a second medicine that the drug monograph specifically says interferes with the antibiotic. I had to again call the pharmacist to find out what to safely do, but only after I had taken it as prescribed 3 times. He also prescribed steroids but told me to not fill it, and when I asked what to do with it, he said to just hold onto it and maybe fill it in a week. I asked why I should wait, but he just repeated to hold onto it. I am always very thorough in making sure I understand doctor’s instructions and that I advocate for myself and my health. This experience scared me and I fear that someone else could end up with a much more serious adverse effect if they blindly followed the medical advice given by this provider.

When I went in today I was helped in a timely fashion by one of the receptionist. After initial registering, it only took about 4 mins until I was seen by a professional. Great staff with pleasant personalities.
