Good Shepherd Health Care System (GSHCS) is a progressive non-profit health system located in Hermiston, Oregon. GSHCS is one of the major employers in the community and is staffed by 40 active medical staff.
GSHCS offers complete medical and surgical care which includes, emergency room with level III trauma center, obstetrics and gynecology, critical care, surgery services, IV therapy/oncology, physical, Speech, and respiratory therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, pain management, sleep therapy, dermatology, and two conveniently located retail pharmacies, in Hermiston and in Boardman. GSHCS physicians include Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics and Urology.
Our services also include the Vange John Memorial Hospice, Home Health & Home Medical Equipment are affiliated divisions of GSHCS. The Good Shepherd Medical Foundation also helps the hospital fulfill its mission. A separate entity, the Good Shepherd Community Health Foundation receives and disperses funds from the community to health-related projects in the community.
