This is a one of the best hospitals around! The best care. The best staff. So friendly,  caring and professional. I spent 4 days there and I am very impressed with the high level of professionalism.

I am staying in Oregon for 5 months and returning home to another state in a week. My PCP is out of state. 

Urgent Care sent me to LMHMC for imaging. They were EXCELLENT and found a blood clot requiring blood thinner for 3 months. The ER care I required not so much. Doctor in ER was very abrupt and in a hurry to leave.

2 1/2 months later, there are some issues regarding the issue I had in the ER in my other leg. Blood clots are serious.  I called Imaging to see if I could schedule imaging. They said I needed a referral. I said fine, but I was out of state and didn't really have a doctor in Oregon to do that. They simply repeated that I needed a referral. I told the lady that due to my situation that was going to be difficult and hoped for a process I could go through to get the referral. The clinic I had seen was closed for the long weekend. She simply didn't want to help and repeated you need a doctor's referral. This is when I get frustrated. I stated that she wasn't being very helpful and what could I do in my situation. She REPEATED you need a referral. 

I would hope that the schedulers could say we recommend you go to urgent care again or find a doctor or call Colorado and get them to do it - all of which are uncertain as far as obtaining a referral that would meet their requirements. It is just laziness to repeat policy over and over without giving any guidance. Your scheduling people in imaging need to be more helpful and not just repeat a policy without guidance.  The medical staff and receptionists are wonderful.

This place hurt my child while trying to get him care at one of the Legacy hospitals. I gave birth to my child there and their communication skills between mom and physician are absolutely atrocious. They never told me that my child had his umbilical cord wrapped around his neck until it was too late. Would not recommend going there for ANYTHING.

Deserves another 0 . Had my second child there along with my second c section.  Daughter would not pass through my pelvic area. As with my son. She was not in distress but the decision was made she would not pass either and to proceed with a c-section. Got in there she was doing pre testing asking me if i could feel what she was doing. And i could. And i let her know i felt what ever you just did.  She did not believe me. She did not administer more anything. She started to cut into me and my whole body went into spasms and i was going into shock. They gas masked me and put me under. Which is not normal for a c section at all.  The horrendous experience did not get any better after that. It was followed by the worst 3 days of my life being trapped in an un compassionate hospital. There was a very few amazing nurses there. And one complete wack job. On top of the rude ones. My daughter still has a scar at the age of 5. From a regular bandaid being removed with scissors, by said crazy one. She some how cut my little 2 day old baby. And that scar is still there. Traumatic. I was diverted there. Mt advice don't call ahead. I hear they cant turn you away once you arrive. And if your planning on having your baby here. I would reconsider it. !!!

I've been seeing different doctors here for 1 year now and I can honestly say that they are good,caring and attentive professionals.The whole staff provided a very good care,therefore,5 stars! Not sure why so many people aren't happy with this hospital...
