This is a good but not spectacular place in my opinion. We’ve come here several times to celebrate family birthdays. It’s a good place for a group because of the variety in the menu. There is something for literally everyone. But I personally find the vast selection to be off-putting. When a restaurant tries to do a little of everything, it’s hard to do it all well. I find the best places tend to have more focus. If I can order Asian, Italian and comfort food in one place I have to wonder how it will turn out. That being said, I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad meal here. Again, not spectacular but a solid “good”. It’s a place I usually wouldn’t suggest on my own but will happily go to at someone else’s suggestion. It’s also pretty family friendly, but not in an obnoxious screaming kids all over the place way or anything.

I love this place for their Happy Hour!! They keep changing out the drinks and always try to keep it fresh!! They have plenty of food choices as well. I highly recommend the potato spring rolls pictured below!! I like that they also have fresher choices and you don't feel like you've devoured a ton of multiple fried foods!! Happy Hour is 4-6:30 M-F!! Their waitresses and waiters are also very friendly and attentive as well!!

Last week, my husband and I were visiting NJ from out of town and looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. My sister recommended Grand Lux without hesitation. We went on a Saturday night and upon arriving was told there would be a 40 minute wait. This wasn’t surprising as it was crazy packed in there. The wait was actually about 30 minutes and from there everything flowed nicely. The food was great (the eggplant fritters, especially!) and the service was as well. Oh, and the Tahitian Pineapple might be my new favorite drink ever, lol. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the next day for brunch. This time there was no wait, the food was still on point and our waiter, Jeremy, exceeded the great service we had received the night before. We will definitely be back :)

The Grand Lux Cafe is one of my favorite places to go eat. Their menu has the widest selection of food and practically everything tastes amazing. The last time I went I got the eggplant parmesan balls and the chicken pot pie was so huge we could only eat half of it and take the rest home. The staff is really great. You may have to wait a while to get in it's always busy.

Kaberia was the perfect waitress. She was on point with everything. My whole meal was perfect especially the fries! I had a burger with cheese bacon lettuce tomato mayo ketchup and mustard. I will give this Restaurant four stars for its pot roast. My husband had the pot roast and half was meat the other half was fat. He enjoyed his whole plate except the fat. Our dessert was prepare to perfection as well. Thanks for making our One Year Anniversary special!!
