Very RUDE staff. We booked a room online via expedia. We called to get more info when we were almost there and the man who answered could not understand what we were saying (all we said was that we made reservations and gave him our name) so he yelled at us and hung up!! We were shocked at the way we were treated. A few minutes later a woman called back and said they no longer had any vacancies. I told her I had already paid for the room and she told me to contact customer service online. Not something I wanted to deal with while on a family vacation. Trying to find another hotel room at 10pm was impossible. Every hotel in Cody was booked.

Camping too close and setup front door facing front door. So you better like your neighbor. No privacy, noisy road until dark. Over priced for what it is. No pickup c tables at your site(no room) and no fire pits.

0 Stars!! Customer service from hell! The Owners have friends that stay here periodically to keep an "eye" on things (stand at open door and watch all sites). They report back to the owners who respond immediately by telling the managers (man and wife) to fix it. This "grapevine" arrangement causes a lot of miscommunication and things to get blown way out of proportion. Top that with managers who are disrespectful, name calling, women haters and....we didn't stay long! 1. My 9 yr old son was playing with his 12 yr old sister who ran to the coded bathroom. She stole his hat and he went in after her. ----> Got reported to me that boys were going into the girls bathroom and were not to go near there again. (Later accused me of making the girls' room unsafe for even the Manager to use.) 2. My 6 and 4 yr olds were playing in pea gravel near bathroom, throwing it in the air above their heads. ----> Got yelled to me that my kids were throwing rocks all over the place and acting like banshees and I would be asked to leave if I didn't fix it. 3. My children were playing tag around camp site (we were the only ones in all 8 tent sites) with 9 other children (cousins) from the RV/Cabins. At 10:05 pm the manager came at me, furious about the noise, accusing me of disrespect and claiming that she had warned me 5x already and would call the cops to have us removed if I didn't fix it...and then immediately denied having ever threatened me. 4. I was accused 3x (I had been showering and making food with family group) for not being present or watching my kids...managers would not accept that my 16 yr old and 14 yr old were tending younger siblings at those times. Kids are not welcome here! 5. Adults cost more yet age of what qualifies as an adult was not clear (did not ask for ages) until we wanted to cancel or request any refund...then it become reason that no money would be returned....turns out that 12+ yrs! are adults. Wifi was down most of the time...risk getting yelled at if you ask them to fix it. Free breakfast is junk food....and not for tent or RV sites. Bathrooms are coded: press two numbers simultaneously then one other number, then turn knob to the right...complicated for children and nearly impossible for small children. Tent camping: WY has lots of wind and this campground won't allow fires on windy days (most days). When fires are allowed they need to be extinguished by 10 pm. There is water at each site but it is hooked up to dual sprinklers (the hoses are not easily unhooked!) so while you carefully aim one stream onto the campfire, the other is wetting down your tent! I was told to fill a bucket with water.
