The bus station is like any other bus station. Unfortunately for travelers who are hungry and waiting for their bus aren't going to have much luck other than the usual junk food stuffed into vending machines which is fine for those in search of snacks. But if you want a coffee or a sandwich you'll have to pack your own.

The wifi on the bus is less than usable and even didnt work on the 1st buss of my sons trip. good luck trying to speak with a person on the phone. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! You can buy a plane ticket for just about the same price.

Centrally located a quick 5 min walk to downtown, Van Andel arena and a two minute walk to the South end of the property where Amtrak station is located. Departure doors are located within sight of both the restrooms and the ticket counter. The Greyhound/Indian Trails ticket system was experiencing several days of computer system problems when last I traveled. (August, 2017) Purchase your tickets online, get a discount for doing so & you will still be able to board without delay.

One of Greyhound's best station. It is host to a small eatery. Not sure if it is open 24 hours. Located in the heart of downtown GrandRapids. Across the street is a locally renowned brewery; Founders Brewery Co. In addition, within a five minute walk are several bar / restaurants and café parlours. The area is abundant with activity, not just for the night life, but also because there are many students from the University of GrandVally (GVSU) that live and school in the area.

The bus drivers are very helpful in making sure you get on the correct bus. Nice waiting area. The only food here are vending machines, so be sure to have change ir dollar bills.
