This station serves Greyhound/Indian Trails as well as Lansings' city bus system. It can get pretty crowded and a little confusing due to layout. All amenities; restrooms, cafe, ticket counter & vending machines are out of sight of the busses, vice versa. Make sure you know when your transfer bus is leaving!

Had to pick up my ticket at the counter. I was early so I had to wait for the ticket agent. He was friendly and gave me my ticket without any problems. I was early because I thought that by leaving early I would be around a more professional/working/quiet crowd at the bus station. I was wrong. Some of the waiting passengers were loud and abnoxious; sounded like troublemakers. I was glad there was a security officer available. The seats at the bus station are hard and uncomfortable. The bus said Detroit and I wasn't going to Detroit so I thought there would be a different bus but the ticket agent explained that it is the correct bus so thankfully I didn't miss it thinking there would be another. Again, not a comfortable place to wait. The women's bathroom is nasty. The tiles look dirty and need to be replaced. The counters and seats need to be replaced as well. They could at least get seats that dont have holes in them so your flesh isn't depressed into hard little rectangular slots. The city of Lansing needs a major facelift. I am not a fan of this city. It is dated and my friend always jokes that Lansing looks dirty like their city needs a bath. He is right. I'm not a complainer but public transit is not my preference. I generally don't like being around strangers. I am hyper-vigilant about germs and disease and public transit is a germ and dirt haven. I had to shower and wash my clothes twice before I felt comfortable again. Otherwise, Lansing is simply not picturesque or interesting at all. When are they going to get a flight from Detroit to Lansing so we can take a 15 - 30 minute trip? I'm sticking with Ann Arbor and other more comfortable/convenient parts of Southeast Michigan that are don't have toxic factories polluting the air and water and making everything look dirty. Go Blue. 😛😀😊😐
