The employees at the Cisco are very nice, & were helpful when needed asking questions about the greyhound buses. Like. “Do they usually arrive on time?” Lol. The point I am trying to make is that the staff there are definitely very friendly. The greyhound bus was a half an hour late to wear I needed to get to. Not cool. The bus driver was very respectful though so that makes it a plus. Respect always helps.
The following comment is directed towards Greyhound Bus Corporation and its driver, and not directed to the Bus Station. The bus station employees are not responsible for the following events. My experience with Greyhound Bus was dreadful. I remain in disbelief, but here's a brief, but not an entire account of my experience with Greyhound. I purchased a round-trip fare from Greyhound as part of a trip to Europe. On the first leg of my journey, the Greyhound Bus was substantially delayed. I waited patiently. Finally, the bus arrived about 2 hours late. The bus driver did not come into the depot waiting area. Someone alerted me that the bus had arrived. I tracked down the driver as he was heading back toward the bus. In the course of producing my ticket, which took all of 15-30 seconds, the bus driver rudely stated multiple times that I was creating a delay. He then denied me access to the bus despite the fact that I produced the ticket. He then threatened to call the police if I did not step away from the bus. As a consequence of his actions, I was not able to make my flight to Europe to be with my wife to celebrate the New Year. Fortunately, I have witnesses. I will be suing Greyhound corporation for negligence, and the bus driver, individually, for an intentional tort. Come to think of it, the last time I rode Greyhound, the bus was delayed over 2 hours en route to my destination. My advice to the public at large is to select a different common carrier if you have a choice. I am distraught and remain in disbelief.
BATAVIA bus station is a gas station and convenience store. Is not the nicest but definitely not the worst. It’s pricy so I recommend to come with your own travel snacks and water. They have ATM, bathroom, fast food, coffee, and more. Also you can purchase your tickets here.
Clean Convenient gas station right off the interstate! Sells fresh cookies and country fried chicken! The store is well stocked and Clean! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! There is a overnight lot for commercial vehicles on the property it is bordered by two name brand hotel chains! The southbound Greyhound and Trailways buses are subject to border and other delays as they come from TToronto and New York City respectively! The staff are very accomdating to the best of their abilities to deal with any delays and you can track the buses in real time to arrive close to actual departure time!
The drivers are very polite and give full details of the trip. However, this trip was too long. We caught the 5:15 bus and arrived in Toronto, Canada at 6 pm. Too long a ride, can be shorter.
Took a round trip from Batavia, NY to New York City and the bus was two hours late. Aside from that it was a relatively okay trip. The trip back from NYC was terrible. This time the bus left on time and everything was going good bar the unreliable Wi-Fi on board. Changed drivers at Syracuse and that's where it took a turn for the worst. The driver was flat out rude and insulting and even refused to drop me off at my stop because according to him, that would have been the equivalent of him doing me a favor. The customer service desk in Buffalo wasn't helpful either. Another passenger came to me later to tell me that she too had been mistreated by the driver
All of the workers are usually very kind and they direct you exactly where you need to go. There is a Tim Hortons located inside of this bus stop along with 3 vending machines and a bathroom for each gender. Sadly since it is in the middle of downtown it attracts some of the homless and drug addicts and you get to see their antics as you wait for the bus. Also there is a little convenience store to the left as soon as you walk into the main entrance. Dont be late either. I was at the grayhoud station in Rochester coming back to buffalo and I was 1 minute late Nd the bus was gone. So be on time!
I was pleased. Tickets were affordable and ride was comfy. Has WiFi and an outlet to charge your phones tablet or what have you
More a gas station where the bus stops, thsn a bus station. But it works. The buses are fairly on time and the people in the gas station can issue tickets, if you haven't time to print it online
This is just a gas station. It does sell snacks and drinks. Parking lot is muddy and very very bad potholes are everywhere so my luggage was ruined. Also the Greyhound driver was very rude.
