0 stars would be too good. I'm talking heroin, crack, etc.....in the bathroom bring used and sold. People passed out next to the toilets and in the stalls for countless hours at a time. Homeless folks coming in repetition asking for the same things and not even thankful for what you've given them. Security guards in several locations that could care less about what's going on around them. The staff treating EVERYONE like their homeless even though you're just off the bus with several bags. Constant harassment/yelling/awoken by kicking, affirming you're wrong and have nothing/heckling visitors/ making fun. Nothing works. Urinals didn't flush. No atm and you can't even walk around to find one. Keep your bags close or on you at all times. Theft should be expected here, because it will happen. After 8 pm there's only one security guard and the homeless/addicts population doubles and they start to come inside. Be very careful, as they will try to scam you and security will not care. Constant stalking of my wife and i from addicts. Never again. And never SLC. And never greyhound, for me -5 stars

Wish Greyhound cared about their customers more...its all about money. Agents don't know what is going on, and most will yell at you if you ask questions. Overbooking of buses on a constant basis so many riders get bumped from connecting buses due to this. Uncaring & rude drivers. If you can take a plane-avoid Greyhound. 800# helpline is not in the US & unreliable. Bus ticket rates are hiked daily. I'm really not sure how this company is still in business.

It is what it is. I had to take the greyhound to get back home after a change of plans. What can I say, I got to my final destination safely. Overnight ride and the time went by faster because most fell asleep during the ride. Just be aware and observant.

Ah, Salt Lake City. I had never witnessed your underbelly. First things first this is the only stop between Portland and Denver that everyone is required to get off at. So, they do check your bags, though not as thoroughly as an airport. Be aware. Well, the station itself wasn't terrible. The bathrooms were actually pretty clean (don't use the water fountains, Utah tap water in the valley is pretty horrible), the security was very good and the floors weren't terribly sticky. There was a lot of seating but the only food vending machine was broken with no sign saying so, the vending machine coffee seemed even more watered down than usual, and the claw game was also, you guessed it, broken. I decided since we had a two hour layover here to take my daughter a couple blocks down the street for some food. Not my greatest idea. Going towards the Rio or whatever that little mall is called is insane! Actually saw people openly shooting up on the street, though once they saw I had a child with me they scattered a bit and those we did encounter seemed very friendly. So, drug use abounds within yards of this stop, but they are very friendly drug users. Still wouldn't give them a dime or interact with them in any way, and highly recommend that you eat either before this stop or after, as it's probably for the best you stay inside the station.
