Story

My name is Bill Griffin. I am the owner and an ASE master certified technician of Griffin's Neighborhood Auto Clinic. I am extending a personal invitation to come and experience what quality auto service is at our repair facility. At Griffin's it's not about just the cars, it's about the customer. My staff and I understand that in these trying times that the last thing you want to have happen is a costly repair. That is why we make sure that your vehicle is in tip-top shape and that you are informed of everything that is going on with your vehicle and that you have a solid game plan as to how to address the issues in a matter of importance. We call this our repair blueprint. It allows you to fix the immediate concerns and decide in the future what to fix as money and time allows. There are no pressure sales here. Just good old fashioned honest business practices. There are two things I look to achieve here. Good customer relationships and quality repairs fixed right the first time.

I really liked Griffin's Auto Clinic. I read the good reviews online when I was looking for a place to have my fuel lines looked at. I learned even though they were quite rusted I really only needed a new fuel filter and the lines were in great shape. I would highly recommend going to Griffin at least to have something checked.  I felt like I paid a really fair price, which is saying something, I usually do most of my own repairs.

The good:
-Quality work, they tell you exactly what they are doing and the parts they will install in your car.
-People are extremely kind, excellent approach for business.
-They are knowledgeable of your vehicle needs.
-They keep in touch with you regarding the vehicle progress.
-They work fast

The bad:
-Like most shops this one is overpriced, nevertheless I feel this one is even more expensive than others.
-When they gave me my truck back steering wheel was full of grease, there was garbage on the floor, fuses in the cup holders (I'm pretty sure those fuses were not even from my vehicle), grease on the door handles (inside door panel)

Conclusion:
If you want a quality work done in your vehicle, this is the right place, I'm sure they are truly experts when it comes to fixing your vehicle. It is not going to be cheap, but usually good things are not cheap.
In my personal experience the final price was more than the quote, so you shouldn't fully trust the quote.
It is disappointing how little they care about your vehicle interior.

My car has given me more problems than I'd care to count, but Griffin's has always been reliable since I've been a customer. Bill and Jenn truly treat you as family and I'm consistently happy with the repairs they do on my car. You get what you pay for here, and I always get a great experience. Bill is always willing to tell you what to expect with the repairs and will talk you through what they'll do. As long as I live in the area, they'll have a loyal customer.

Truly a 'neighborhood' shop where you're treated with a professional and friendly service that seems so rare to come by these days. You don't feel like just another number when going there. Communication is top notch as they take the time to explain the repairs and costs and are easy to follow-up with. Great pricing and fast turn around - they do the job right the first time and get you back on the road again without worry or hassle.

We do not recommend this repair facility due to overpriced $$$$$ parts. $43.00 per quart of differential fluid. That's a rip off! They also over-charged by one quart, an extra $43.00 for nothing! What a waste of time and money.

Always get a written estimate as it is State of Michigan law for any repair over $20.00. Do not assume you will be getting a fair price because we didn't.
