Pros: Great place to get cheap and affordable groceries. Always check the dates on things. The reason things are cheaper is that items usually do not have a very long expiration date. 

Cons: The cashout lines are very long because there are usually only two registers open. If you are looking for the same items on a weekly basis do not bother, not everything is stocked consistently. The checking of IDs for alcoholic beverages is questionable. According to what I've seen is that I have been born in many different years on multiple occasions.

All in all it is a decent place close by in the SJ downtown to grab some affordable groceries without having to break the bank.

This is a pretty decent location, but keep in mind they have a limited food selection. Most of it is bulk food stuffs. Also be sure to check the dates on items you buy; many will be close, or past, the expiration date. Lastly, they have a good beer and wine selection.

Prices are very competitive. They don't carry everything that the major chain stores have, but what they do carry, is at a significant discount. When I go grocery shopping I take my list here first, then I'll get the few remaining items at the more expensive chain stores.

Prices are reasonable although quality is somewhat lacking on some items and selection is not huge. Items carried poo be week may not be there the next. Overall worth a visit.

The prices are good, but you should check the expiry dates of products before you buy. It could be so close.
