My daughter was at the 6:30 little bouncers class today (this was her 3rd class of the school year). She wore a 2-piece Ivivva (Lululemon kids brand) gymnastics outfit. When I picked her up from class she was wearing a t-shirt on top of her outfit, and when I asked her way, she told me that her teacher told her in front of the whole class that she is not allowed to show her stomach. She said she felt embarrassed because she didn't know and it was unnecessary to tell her in front of everybody. I went up to the front desk to return the t-shirt and ask them why she was put in a t-shirt. The woman I spoke with told me that they are not allowed to show their midsection. By the way, I think it's HIGHLY hypocritical as all the other girls wear leotards with butt cheeks exposed. Personally, I would rather show stomach than butt cheeks but to each their own 🙄🙄🙄. So, I told the woman that I was unaware they have a dress code as it was never shown to me, it's not posted anywhere in their facility, or on their website for that matter. She told me "it's probably in one of our waiver". Fine, it's totally okay for them to have a dress code but it's their responsibility to inform parents and they failed to do that. Otherwise, as far as I'm concerned a gym outfit is a gym outfit. I have a problem with: - One: the way it was handled. Do NOT take it up with my daughter and embarrass her in front of the whole class. Take it up with me! The parent. - Two: When o gave the t-shirt back to the woman I spoke with, she told me to keep it. I told her that I didn't want to keep it. She said "in that case, take it with you and bring it back next week washed". Then, she walked away and I heard her say "Well, that was awkward!". Yes, I heard you and that was as unprofessional as the way you handled the situation with my child. - Three: the lack of communication. If you have a dress code that you enforce with such lack of class and empathy, then, it's YOUR responsibility to make sure everyone is aware. My child does NOT want to return to this sorry excuse of a gym as you embarrassed her in front of her classmates, therefore, I'm canceling her membership first thing in the morning. I should have checked your lousy Google and Yelp reviews before I ever signed her up.

Beware: They Don't Care After two years with this gym, I went online to register ON DAY ONE of registration, and was too late for any classes after school hours. The wait lists were 4-deep (which makes it extra hard since I have two girls). I was so upset, and immediately emailed to ask what we could do, wondering if they could help me get into a class or if I just have to go somewhere else. I said we had been there two years already. They replied to me that it was my own fault for not being a priority student, and for not getting online earlier in the day if I really wanted a class. They even had a manager call me...When I saw the call I thought she was there to help me, but she was mad at me for complaining. She wanted to make sure I knew that it was for really-realz my own fault. This "losers are losers" attitude is so bizarre to me for a business that teaches young children. They really didn't care that we had been there for a while. We didn't get in, so we were out. We were just rec level students. We had one coach we loved, and one that was meh, but we were ready to stay. Denied. I guess don't go here if you aren't ready to win a cut-throat registration battle.

I have two children that have taken gymnastics at both the Issaqah and Bellevue location. Both children were taking two classes each per week. We had priority registration and were told to sign our son up for level two boy's come Fall. After a frustrating registration process, poor record keeping from the office and experiencing the worst customer service in my adult life we were left without a class for my son. I will make sure to share our experience with others. Our family cannot wait for the new gymnastics club to open in Issaquah next year-- late 2018. The program sounds promising. It will be nice to have business competition for gymnastics in this area.

Absolutely awful to host a birthday party for kids. Teachers are low energy, cranky and do not provide safety to the kids. I saw a kid fall on his back after the teacher put him to swing on a rope and left him unattended. The place itself was dirty, stunk like feet and did not accommodate 16 kids at all, much less with parents. I hope they stop advertising birthday parties because they do not know how to have fun or provide a safe place for kids!
