Charley is AMAZING!!! My daughter and I have very textured, kinky hair. She did amazing blow-outs, straightenings, and trims. She didn't heat damage our hair and styled our hair BEAUTIFULLY!!! Charley is gifted to be able to do all nationalities of hair and all hair types. I highly recommend Charley!

I was skeptical about getting my luxury human hair extensions cut at Hair Cuttery, but i was assured that Roxie knew her stuff by another reference. She did exactly what i wanted with them. She blended them seamlessly with my natural hair by layering and thinning with a razor. She demonstrated excellent knowledge in her profession and gave me helpful advice on care of my clip-in extensions. My cut is beautiful. I hadn’t been to a Hair Cuttery in years but i gave it a try and left very pleased. Thank you Roxie at Loehmans Plaza!

If I could leave a -1 star review about this visit I would. After telling the stylist Roxy what i wanted done she took the scissors and did exactly what I told her I didn't want. When I asked her what did she just do, she gave me this deer in headlights look and said "trimming your hair." To say I was upset is an understatement. She finished the hair cut and I have to say it is awful. One side of my hair is shorter than the other, completely missed sections, strings all over the place. Awful. My only option is to let my already messed up and too short hair grow out some to get it cut short and again so it can be fixed. I have been a customer of this particular Hair Cuttery since I moved to Virginia Beach in 1991 and I promise I have never had an experience like this. To leave here crying was something I will not get over. We are supposed to come out feeling happy and looking good. I have had on a ball cap for three days so I wouldn't have to look at my hair.

Omg horrible service!!!! I only went in to get a trim and the guy who cut my hair butchered it!! I have very curly hair and the way he cut it, it didn’t lay right... my hair stuck straight out, then came down at an angle towards my face... I looked like a damn football. When my hair dried, I cried when I saw it. I ended up spending another $40 by going somewhere else to have them fix his screw-up. And it took her 2 tries to fix it. She had to cut off INCHES to fix what he did... all I wanted was a damn trim! Less than a inch!! Now my hair is way shorter than I ever wanted it to be!! If you want an awesome haircut and a new stylist you can count on, go see Karen at Regis Salon in Lynnhaven Mall. She is my savior, my new stylist and the only one who is allowed to touch my hair!!!

I found an amazing stylist there, Cherie, who actually understands cutting hair. My hair is fine and thin, and I wear it short. Having been a hair stylist, I know that with a good haircut you can control your style until the next one; so I keep returning.
