Story

Established in 2007 - HamperVille Allows New Yorkers to be Lazy about Their Dry Cleaning & Laundry. Our devoted laundry agents will show up at your apartment, scoop up your dirty clothes, then return them when they are properly laundered. We also handle dry cleaning and tailoring. Thus far, we service all of Manhattan and most of Brooklyn with more neighborhoods to be added soon

These guys offer a good service laundry comes back immaculate and nicely organized (even though I throw my stuff in that bag in a real hurry a lot of the time 😳). If you email or call customer service they call you back or email back pretty much instantly in my experience. They have also customized pick up times for me beyond what's offered on their app, when I've been going on vacation for example - I just emailed and asked. The drivers who pick up and drop off are very polite. I've sent comforters and pillows which have come back in great shape also.

I recently moved and decided to try out Hamperville for my new wash and fold provider. I sent them roughly 2-3 loads of laundry. The same amount of laundry that I have always had sent out. This amount of laundry usually totals about 15 lbs give or take. I was charged for THIRTY ONE pounds of laundry. There is absolutely NO way that my laundry weighed that much. Deciding to weigh it myself, it came out to 18 pounds. That sounds far closer to my typical weight. I will not be using Hamperville again because this caused my bill to be triple what I was expecting, their scales seem to be quite a bit off.

DO NOT USE Hamperville unless you are OK with melted and broken bras, melted beading and embellishments, grey looking whites, colour stained clothes and MAJOR shrinkage!! I was visiting NY and did not have access to a washing machine so I used Hamperville. I was very specific about wanting like colours washed together, included colour catching paper to be used and even let them know that I was willing to pay extra for this service. I was left devastated with most of the load picked up ruined, including new items purchased during the holiday. When I contacted Hamperville they simply said that they held no responsibility for any of this damage! Very poor!

I, like most people, hate doing laundry. These guys love doing it and they do a great job at it. Very friendly and reasonably priced for the service they provide. If you hate laundry like I do give these guys a call!
