The parking was free and wheelchair accessible. An electronic device opened the main ground-level entry doors. The desk-clerk was accommodating. Our rooms were neat and aesthetically pleasing. A refrigerator and microwave were included. The in-door pool water and room was uncomfortably cool. We contacted the hotel staff and the maintenance man adjusted the temperature. The next morning the water and room temperature had warned to our liking. The complimentary hot breakfast included fruit, juices, breads, dairy, meats, cereals and etc. The chef was people-friendly and enjoyed talking about her recipes.

The GM and her staff at this hotel are absolutely AWESOME! They are friendly, kind and truly professional when dealing with their guest. From the moment you walk in their door you are greeted with a warm smile and are made to feel like you're the most important person in the universe.  The reception area, the breakfast area, the indoor pool and  the guest rooms are exceptional. I truly give this hotel and its staff the very highest rating. A great place to stay while in Texarkana, TX.

Room was clean, staff was really nice and helpful. Bad part was room was HOT! The ac unit will only cool down to 67 degrees. We had to go to a local Wal-Mart and purchase a small fan to be able to sleep. My son and husband who like the temperature warmer was complaining of the room being to hot. I know hotels keep the thermostats set on VIP mode but they really need to keep them lower than what they are actually set for. Other than this our stay was nice. Will probably look into a different hotel next time though and hope it's cooler or bring our fan again .

Very friendly front desk staff. Indoor pool is a great touch, though the gym is a bit small and heats up pretty fast. Breakfast was wonderful, and the folks attending to it were wonderfully polite and helpful (they even came around and collected our trash when we were finished). The room was clean and comfortable and there were a couple chain restaurants in walking distance in a pinch. Great nights stay for the price.

Nice hotel and nice staff. I would recommend to anyone traveling to stay here. Also try the cookies!
