We arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 with our 5-year-old and 2 1/2-year-old. I went to check and got my room key. I took the luggage upstairs to room 304. When I entered the smoke, alarm was beeping and the carpet has a white powder covering it with a horrific smell of flowers. I went down to the front desk for them to tell me that they didn't have any other rooms and the smoke alarm beeping was normal. They told me they would be to clean the room since they must have missed it. We got the kids headed to the room. The lady at the front desk came in to vacuum while me, my wife, and two kids stood in the hall for 10 minutes while she vacuumed. I told her the room looked really dusty after she vacuumed and she told me that she couldn't figure out how to use the vacuum properly. The vacuum put all of that white dust in the air and all over everything. She did figure out how to use the vacuum and vacuumed again but the damage was done. The fire alarm continued to beep and she told use that was normal. I told her it was not. She they said she would see if she could find a battery and asked if she brought it to me if I could put it in. I told her sure. When she returned to the room with the battery I put it in at her request. Didn't solve the issue. She said to wait and see if it stops. We did and it keep going. Now about 11:15pm we tried to call to find out our phone didn't work in the room. We then called via cellphone. They sent someone up again to tell us the battery was ok. The person took down the smoke alarm from the room telling us that is all he could do that evening. I was so surprised and didn't even thing this was legal. FYI, I also took pictures. I have stayed in this hotel before and always a good experience. We stayed two nights and the first one was the worst. The next day the room was at least clean. The room needed some upkeep and the smoke alarm needed to be replaced, the bathroom and a dip in the floor and the phones didn't work. When you are paying this kind of money for a room you would think that it should at least be a nice place to stay. I hope that this gets to someone that can assist making this a better experience in the future.

Night desk personel not as courteous as I would have liked. Very few customers at Comfort Suites, but desk person unwilling to discount price for seniorcitizens, Aarp, or AAA. Room was ĺarge and appropriately set up for a handicapped room. I was not really certain that sheets had been changed, as they were not smooth when I turned the top covers back. Morning persons were much more pleasant. Elevator made 3rd floor accessible for seniors.

I travel quite a bit so I have grown to be a bit picky. I've stayed here 5 or 6 times the last few months. This hotel is quiet. Good location in terms of restaurants close by and right off the interstate. Staff has been friendly. Beds are ok, a bit firm for my personal taste, but the pillows are nice. Minus a star for no alarm clock and no bedside charging station.

This place is absolutely beautiful. It is a new facility (newer than the one in Texarkana, Texas). Make sure you see at the right facility before you arrive. If you go to the wrong one, don't worry the other is less than 10 minutes away. Roberta was such a nice person when we met her, keep her around!

We made it here at 3am and the staff was pleasant. Our room was ready for us and we were ready for it. 2 queen suite worked wonderfully for my family of 5. We asked for a late checkout and they accommodated us. I definitely recommend this place. Would use it again.
