I was pulled over by Officer Ryan Burke with the Hanahan PD on 12/27/17 at 0247. His reason for pulling me over was improper lane use. Having had so many bad experiences with law enforcement I never expect a good experience. But Officer Burke treated me with respect and even told me if I ever needed anything I could contact him. To me, the way Officer Burke conducted himself is a reflection of proper police training. Usually, people only share their bad experience with law enforcement so I figured I would share the good experience I had with Officer Ryan Burke..he only gave me a warming.

The hanahan police department have always been the most caring of any community I've known. This is small town and they are professional. They have taken measures extra measure to keep us safe. In my neighborhood they installed hidden cameras. They have a community outreach such as the signs they have reminding us to lock our cars. They are part of this community living anongst us as our next door neighbors. When ever I'm scared I know to call them and they'll work st keeping me safe. I appreciate everything you do. I'll work harder at doing everything I should.
