After having been intimidated and harassed by several co-workers, then wrongfully terminated; an Officer accompanied me as an impartial observer to my former place of employment so that I could collect my property and wages owed. This is always a good idea if you can foresee that there may be potential for tension and/or conflict - both parties will think twice about attempting to instigate. Literally known as "Keeping the Peace". I don't remember his name though...blonde guy in his twenties, super nice.

THIS POLICE DEPARTMENT SEEMS TO ENCOURAGE OFFICERS TO INTIMIDATE OR TRICK MOTORISTS INTO WAIVING 4TH.AMENDMENT RIGHTS TO SEARCH VEHICLES. WILL EVADE OR NOT ANSWER A SIMPLE QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT THE MOTORISTS ARE BEING DETAINED. WILL STRETCH THE TRAFFIC STOP FOR A HALF HOUR OR MORE TO WEAR YOU DOWN TO CONSENT. NEED PROBABLE CAUSE OF A CRIME TO DETAIN AND A TRAFFIC STOP IS USUALLY BUPKISS IN THAT DEPARTMENT. IF YOU DENY THE COP PERMISSION TO "LOOK AROUND" IN YOUR CAR, THEY SEE YOU ON TRAFFIC COURT DATE AND TELL THE JUDGE YOU WERE "UNCOOPERATIVE" DURING THE STOP. THE JUDGE (HONOR GRADS OF FOGGY BOTTOM SCHOOL OF LAW) THEN MAXES YOUR FINE BECSUSE YOU DID NOT COOPERATE AND BLOW OFF YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO PROTECTION FROM UNREASINABLE SEARCH. AND THATS OK. IT BEATS HAVING ONE OF THEM DROP DRUGS IN YOUR CAR TRUNK A LA DAVID COPPERFIELD AND THEN THEY BUST YOU FOR A FELONY. NEVER EVER CONSENT TO A VEHICLE SEARCH BY THESE COPS. WHEN YOU DO THAT YOU HAVE TOSSED AWAY YOUR RIGHTS AND OFFICER FRIENDLY WONT BE YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE. AND IT WILL BE ALL ON YOU. IT CAN HAPPEN HERE
