My boyfriend has a monthly membership and I finally got jealous enough to schedule an appointment. And I’m so glad I did! I had a wonderful deep tissue massage with Anthony. He listened to my needs and made an hour feel luxurious. I will definitely be back. 

My only wish was that there was a better transition experience from the main reception area to the rooms. I have been at other spas that offer robes, tea/coffee/wine, slippers, etc to relax clients before the massage. Otherwise 5/5.

On March 29, I booked an appointment for a couple's massage with a specific massage therapist followed by facials. We had to wait until May 12 (6+ weeks) to get an appointment with this person, but were okay with that. On May 11, my husband received a voicemail confirming the appointment with a different (male) massage therapist. When I called back, I was told that the massage therapist had been changed without notifying us and that we couldn't book the original massage therapist until July 22 (another 10+ weeks) and that we also wouldn't be able to schedule facials following the massage. 

I asked to speak to the manager to complain and was told she wasn't in yet, but I could leave a message and she'd call me back. I called again a few hours later and, after pressing the receptionist, was told she wouldn't be in at all today, but she might be in the next day. As I assumed they were hoping I'd drop the issue if they ignored me long enough, I decided to call their corporate office and am now waiting to hear back with a "resolution." 

We had been looking forward to this day for a month and a half and what was supposed to be a relaxing experience has become a stressful and frustrating one instead.

I have been going to Hand and Stone for over a year, and have seen different massage therapists. They are wonderful, but management is lacking in their communication skills. I signed up for a package at 59/month, and they decided they were changing it to 69/month without my consent, or knowledge. I was told I received an email regarding the change, but I never did, and the receptionists could not produce the email, either. When I asked receptionists about the issue, they told me to speak to the manager, who conveniently was never there when I called, on multiple occasions, different days of the week, different times, and also never bothered to return any of my messages. If the extra $ was actually going towards services, since I regularly paid extra to get an 80 minute massage, it wouldn't have been an issue. They also have a points system, which seems to work like "Whose Line is it Anyway," where they don't actually matter, and nobody can tell you how they are accumulated or how to spend them. 

I have had multiple therapists, and it seems that they move on to somewhere else after a few months. Laura is wonderful, and so was Tara, and so were the two other therapists I saw for a few months until they left.  Although my experiences with the therapists and receptionists regarding their customer service has been wonderful, there must be something going on behind the scenes to make all of them eventually leave. People quit bosses, not jobs.

tl;dr: Absolutely do not give these people your credit card information.

I've had two massages at this location so far with Laura, and it's been amazing!! She's an amazing massage therapist and has a great healing instinct. For both visits, she's ensured my comfort including the amount of pressure applied and is great about focusing each session to whichever part of my body needs it most that day :) My sessions have helped me greatly to work through sciatic and QL pain, and shoulder and back discomfort that is also the result of my job and sitting all day. By the second visit, I signed up for the membership and can't wait for my next visit!

This place is fantastic. Tara is my massages therapist and she is so kind and knows just how I like the massage after only 2 times! I also had a facial done by Maruca and she is spectacular. Very sweet and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is calming and warm, and makes me feel like I'm going to a spa. There's also a Starbucks right beside it so if you need a boost after it's very handy.
