Frequent stop when in the area. Easy to access, usually have any bike supplies needed. Clean, attractive, well stocked.

We liked this place from the start when a staff member came to help us a minute after we walked in. He was very knowlegable about bicycles and great at finding one that matched our needs. When showing us different models, he gave us very objective information about how they were different and what exactly the extra cost confers. We got to test the bikes outside and find one we like. We shopped around at generic sporting goods stores but found neither the customer service nor the knowledge at Hawleys. Keep in mind, these are good bikes so you're not going to find a $150 junker for short occasional trips, but if you will be riding regularly, a quality bike is a must and Hawleys is a great option.

Great bicycle place. They have a good size shop with plenty of items and they are very helpful.  Many years ago, I needed help with a hard problem and they went out of their way to help me try and solve the problem. I have been going there ever since :)

I got my road bike tuned up here. They offer a few different service packages for this. They were VERY helpful, did the job quickly, and got my bike back to me in great shape. This place was highly recommended to me by a few people in town and they were all right. I'll go back here the next time I need anything bile related. 

I should also note that this place was PACKED when I was there on a Tuesday afternoon. This is a good sign and all the staff was working very hard to help everyone in the shop.
