I love this place so much. You cannot beat the location. Right in the center of the best parts of Salem. The food here is amazing. You really don't ever have to leave the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfy you don't wanna leave (where can I get one of those comforters?) The front desk and servers are super helpful and knowledgeable. This is my second time here and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Stayed here for a weekend anniversary getaway. It was very conveniently located downtown near shopping, restaurants, and museums. The room was super clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in. Room service was great and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. There was a beautiful bouquet of roses in the room when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!

We hosted our company party at The Hawthorne Hotel in the Sofia room in January. Karen was super helpful in helping us organize and plan what turned out to be a truly memorable evening. The food was excellent, the venue was perfect and everything went exactly as planned. The price was very affordable compared to other venues that in my opinion were not as nice. We look forward to having our party again there next year!!

One of the most historic hotels in Salem.  It has lovely architecture all around the building. It does have an ancient and scary look to it but it wonderful once you walk inside. Great service too.  It is in a convenient location to get to downtown Salem and there are many buses that pass by that way.  I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family mainly due to its ancient style and architecture inside and outside.

Great place to stay. The staff was amazing, and the room was terrific.  Beautiful views.  Our last night here it was down pouring rain.  We decided to hit up the bar and weren't disappointed.  The bartender and manager were terrific conversationalist.  Went out of their way to see that we all enjoyed our evening.  Thank you for a perfect stay.
