This hotel and the most helpful staff that I've ever encountered. I don't mean one or two people either I mean every single staff member was super polite, extremely helpful and very accommodating. Rooms are beautiful and the prices are incomparable. I will definitely go back!

The Hotel Salem is centrally located to just about everything we wanted to do in Salem. Walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and historical sites. The room was great, but the floors were quite creaky. Very friendly staff, always welcoming you back to the hotel with a smile, and offering suggestions on things to do. Will definitely be back for a longer stay next time

My wife chose this hotel without my consent as there was no parking but she wanted a place near the historic center of the town. But I honestly loved the place. The staff was really nice and helpful, the room was comfortable, simple yet nicely decorated. The rain shower was appreciated, the complimentary iPad was a nice touch, although my wife and I already had ours. It’s really in the middle of everything and they suggested a parking lot right across the street so it’s no trouble at all. The worst thing I could say is about that blue light coming from the alarm clock. I could not find how to turn it off, but I just turned the box toward the wall. If that’s the worst, it says how much we appreciated our stay.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel.  I had never been to Salem  and was traveling alone in the dark so finding my way to a parking garage was a little challenging but hotel staff was so helpful.  They guided me over the phone to the Museum Parking Garage which is a great place to park - just a short walk to the hotel and it was $18 for an overnight stay.  The front desk gal was so sweet.  She went out of her way to research good hair salons in the area and restaurant directions.  The hotel could not be in a better location, right in the hub of things.  Once you park, you won't need your car again to have a good time.  I love the coffee and water stations located on each floor and the coffee was there early-  yes, yes, yes.  They said 7am but it was there at 6 (maybe don't count on that though).  And, the best thing is that Hotel Salem doesn't look or smell like a hotel-  its  modern,  simply designed, no fuss and clutter, and clean. Love it!,  I'll definitely go there again.

Stopped in for a cocktail and went back the second night to taste the food. Burger was tasty and the build-out is great. I'm excited to see what they do over the next 3 to 6 months.
