Had an uninspected car. Had to turn it in mid trip so we got delayed. They did refund some money and resolve the issue at the end of the rental one week later. Our 2nd car was dirty.  Some costs were not explained well.  Not a good interaction but things were solved in the end. I prefer enterprise but hertz was cheaper by about $10 a day then with the bill being fixed it was better.  If the car was good and prices clearly explained i would have gave a 4 out of 5.

We recently rented a Jeep Compass for one month to tour Colorado/Utah/etc.  Excellent roominess for suitcases and extra needs for the road trip. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hertz, Concord, NH.  We always rent from them.

I think Hertz is not so user friendly, but the people who work the counter are great.
