I had the very pleasant experience renting from the 14th street location of Hertz for the first time recently. The staff was very professional in dealing with me and as I watched the other customers get taken care of I noticed all of the employees had a very upbeat professional demeanor that I appreciate. I do not often get that type of great customer service unless I am at the airport locations. Congratulations on the management for training your staff well and  keeping such a positive mental attitude. We have been taught that you lead by example and this location  is proof of that old rule working.

Rented a Nissan Quest for the week that cost me $225 out the door. Had no problems with the vehicle at all and drove to Texas and back. The rental and return process was pretty smooth and easy. The prices here were better than the other rental car agencies in the area for that time period. The vehicle could have been just a little cleaner upon pickup but other than that everything was great.

It sure takes a long time to get checked in when you've had a reservation. You think it will be very quick but it's not. My friends thought they'd be in and out within at least 10 minutes because they had a reservation no it took over 30 minutes and they were the first ones to walk in the door. So make sure you have plenty of time to pick up your car

FIRST, I waited OVER an HOUR to be picked up from where my car was being worked on (which was about a 5minute drive) Then, when the driver finally gets there with a FULL van he looks to me and says, “I don’t really have the room, do you mind squeezing in?” The woman at the repair shop could not believe it herself and offered to drive me instead. 

I finally get to Hertz location no thanks to Hertz, and when I tell you I waited another 45 minutes, I mean it. It wasn’t like this was a surprise, this was all scheduled to happen so why the unpreparedness!?!

They had no record of my information, they lost it. And after refilling out everything, they give me a vehicle that smelled HEAVILY of fried food upon opening the door! The insides are not wiped down, there’s dirt/dust/grime throughout the front seat. Severely disappointed. I’m usually the one to give someone the benefit of the doubt but come on! Never again!!

I arrived at Hertz at 7:20 am. Hertz was a few minutes late opening. I had to wait on a car to be cleaned up. I also noted that the customer ahead of me had to wait for a car to be cleaned as well. The floors in the building we're not clean. I was sitting and was able to see that the floors under the service desk were very dirty. There should be more than 1 person at the service desk.
