The employee at the Hertz store was super nice, he asked questions about our trip to ensure we got the right match in our car. The car was clean when we picked up and desperately in need of a bath when we brought it back a week later. So much fun, and the price was reasonable.

I had to call Hertz today for being mistakenly charged $300 that caused my account to overdraw, I was reasonably incensed. Called the Montano location and was directed to Randi. After some back and forth with State Farm, Randi was kind enough to agree to a conference call with State Farm to try and resolve my issue. Even though the ladies at State Farm were short and irritated, Randi stepped in and sent them the information they needed. She went above and beyond any expectations I had for this day or this call, she was patient, polite, friendly, she was even able to diffuse a fair bit of my anger. She solved what I was expecting to be an uphill battle in one call. I cannot gush enough over her. Thank you so much.

Hertz Double charge my credit card and Martin make sure to correct it right there and then. Making my experience extremely smooth and great . He is a keeper and the reason why I keep coming back to HERTZ.

Overall the automobile ran fine for the two weeks we used it.  However, I didn't feel it was quite up to Hertz standards.  1. The inside windshield was dirty, so much so that I borrowed window cleaner and paper towels to clean it myself; there was also a small pepple crack in the front windshield that could have spread. 2. The "Low Tire" indicator light was on so I borrowed a tire gauge to test them before driving on the highway - they tested OK but the light stayed on for two weeks. 3. My wife complained that the passenger seat smelled of urine each time the sun warmed the seat (by this time we were over 200 miles from Albuquerque).  4. We dropped our grandaughter off at school one day and when she opened the door her hand was covered with someone else's discarded gum which stuck to her hand. 5. The vehicle had a scratched and loose, right-front side bumper panel.  I called Hertz to inform them immediately after I took possession, and they noted the issue.  These are all small issues, but not the usual Hertz rental quality.

They gave me the wrong car. I had also requested the car to be dropped off, but unfortunately they were not able. Their excuse was that they had no one there to drive the car over. They are very unclean as to the time deadlines for returns and pick up scheduling.
