This place takes FOREVER to get and return a rental. I would suggest going to another location. When I came to pick up the rental, two of the agents started arguing and it was very unprofessional. When returning, i got here in time before the line was out the door. It seems like the agents take their time on purpose. And it's not like they're taking their time because they're explaining info and being detailed with their service. The agents completely lack customer service.

Went the the Downey location to rent the car. We give them all our information after standing in line for 15 minutes because there is only one guy working the front while the other guys are chilling in the back. The assistant manager who was at the front checking people in for reservations told me that it would be 20 wait the car was just coming from the car wash.
1 hour later the car shows up but the rep keeps helping other customers that got there long after us giving them their cars while ours sits. So I approach the counter and start talking to an employee in the back that was chilling. The assistant manager who was outside doing a walk around with another customer which got their after us sees us talking and comes in and finally checks us out after the car had been sitting there 15 minutes. All in all took me, a gold member, an hour and a half to rent a car that I already had a reservation for at this location. 

This rental was for my Wedding and I didn't have the time to sit around and play games. Had a whole list of things to do which hertz completely threw off.

The car had a chipped windshield that I noticed when I got on the road but the agent missed entirely. 

When dropping the car off the line was so long that I almost missed catching my flight out of LAX. If I didn't get frustrated and just went up to the counter and hand over the keys telling them I had to catch my flight after standing there forever. They didn't like that I just handed them the keys and said something about charging me extra. They better not! I'm not responsible that they have lazy employees there who move so slow and would rather chill than help the customer.

Terrible Customer service.  Absolutely, terrible.  Extremely rude, and condescending.  Constantly interrupting when I had questions.    Unprofessional.  Deserves zero stars.  Asked to speak to a manager, no manager available to speak with a customer at 11:30am.  Called coorperate, I hope issue will be addressed.

Incredibly slow service, almost seems like the people that work here wer randomly selected contestants on a bad t.v show.  The hours are very inconvenient, who closes a car rental at 6 ? I mean seriously? On top of that they are closed Sundays for whatever reason... First and last time ever dealing with this particular location.
