Anyone with an H&H Gregg card may want to reconsider your account with them. My ex husband went in to buy 2 televisions and a refrigerator and he forgot his H&H Gregg credit card. He told them he had an account there and they looked it up on the computer and somehow it pulled my account up. He told him no that wasn't the right account and that I was his ex wife. Keep in mind, my last name is Scavo and his is Elmore. AND we have different addresses.... the cashier still billed his purchase to my account. Jeff didn't even have to show them an ID to do this. SO, I get a bill from them for $1,833.76 and I knew I haven't been in there for almost 4 years. I called it in as fraud and had the card cancelled. I also told them that I did NOT want another card, nor an account with them. Anyway, we seen Jeff and Susan last night and we were telling them what had happened. Jeff, said that it was him that made the charge but he had no idea they billed my account. He went to the store today to tell them what happened and they would not add the purchase to his account...I know right!!! So, apparently ANYONE can walk in H&H Gregg tell them they didn't bring their card, and then have their stuff charged to someone else. AND not even have to show an ID to do this. I called again today to tell them what had happened and to try and fix it. I was informed that my new card was on it's way with a balance of $1,833.76 but I wouldn't be responsible for the.bill. I told them that I did NOT want a charge card with them!!!! They are going to continue the fraud investigation and maybe if Jeff is lucky, he will get all that stuff free.

I can't say I'm thrilled, but a bit better than Best Buy (which I will NEVER deal with again). Went in looking for a home stereo system. Found a ONKYO system we liked. Salesman checked the back and said one wad left, but they had to check inside the box because the box had visible damage. So we waited, he came back and said all looked okayass. So we bought it...... and 30 minutes later the box comes out and they said they couldn't get the receiver back in the packaging. Hmmmm...... odd, they just took it out. Got the system home, unpacked it and tried to put it together. What was missing? Cable for woofer, remote, Fm and AM antennas, and setup mic (used for the system to setup surround sound). Called the store and the salesman checked - "Oh yeah, they left this stuff on the back dock." So another 40 mile trip to town the next day. The item performs great, just don't let them open a box while you are at the store because they certainly don't pay much attention to getting everything to you. Sloppy. Uncaring customer service. About par nearly everywhere these days.

I don't believe I was here on this day but I have 2 tvs in my house that came from here. I tell ya, if your paying with cash you can certainly get a good deal. Overall, just to walk in and look around, the crew members are great.

Stuff is ok In here, decent prices, however in 45 minutes not one person asked us if we needed anything or any questions.

I am so very disappointed in this store now. I had heard bad reviews about the store but never had any problems until yesterday. I purchased a tablet for one of my grandsons last year. Yesterday I had to return it, again, and did not think anything about it because I had purchased the extra warranty. They did not have any tablets like his except the floor model so the salesman offered him the choice of the "floor model" or another brand of tablet. We were told he would "swap" them out. No mention of any extra money on my part. We had to go back home and get the charger and by the time we returned that saleman had "already left" according to the general manager. The manager said he knew the situation. I ended up having to pay an additional $21 and some change because they "don't do business like that". He never once apologized for the "misunderstanding". Several people, including another employee, heard what the salesman told me, but to my disbelieve she headed off in the other direction when I was walking to the service desk. The manager implied I was lying. If in fact there should have been a charge then the salesman should have told me when he offered to "swap". Where I come from a "swap" is even unless you are told otherwise up front. Now, I did lose my temper with the manager, which was wrong especially in front of my grandson. If I could go back and do it over I would, but, that does not change the fact the manager is rude and condescending. I emailed the corporate office last night and told them part of it, but have not heard back from them. I don't want to say I will never be back in that store because if the tablet we got last night quits working I will be back dealing with Mr. General Manager again, and yes, I will ask for him by name. I don't know how often they change managers but I will be glad when this one moves on. Like I said before, I have never had any problem with anyone that works there, they always went above and beyond for me and my family. I hope this is a one time event.
