Great place to camp with your family. The views are amazing. Have visited the past 2 years in August with my son and Dad to celebrate my son's birthday and just to get away. Really enjoy it and look forward to lots more years of memories here

A wonderful park, a natural woodland with great camping, hiking, picnicing, beautiful scenic drives. And the highest point in New Jersey. However, the best part of the park is the wildlife and the scenery. A wide variety of birds, as well as dear, bear, and other wildlife. This park is beautiful year round, although it is tough (and very cold!) In the winter. Highly recommended.

Loved this place! Hiking and views were the best. Good challenging terrain, we'll marked trails. Saw mountain bikers there too. Will be back again.

The park is very good for trails and camping. This is my 3rd visit and hope many more to come. We went recently in the 3rd week of October 2017 for the fall colors. Although it wasn't peak but still very good. There is a nice lake and a tiny beach. We have been there in winter once to see the frozen lake. It was awesome view.

I have been to High Point on several occasions for the monument and trails. Until this past summer I had not been there for the beach/lake area as my family had always frequented Swartswood. The beach area is pristine, the snack bar is extensive, and the bathrooms were clean! The water was a bit cold compared to other state park lakes...but hey, that's what you get up there! We will definitely be going back.
