Great for camping overnight. Bring a tent and enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately you can hear the highway traffic most of the time.

After the recent rains, the Delaware River feeder streams coming down along Old Mine Rd are looking great! Not much time after I get out of work to see them, but I do what I can in the time available.

While the grounds are maintained and they seemed to have fixed some of the pot holes referenced in other reviews, the bathrooms are an issue. I am happy we came during the week, when the campground was mostly empty, as we got a beautiful spot right on the river (#36). If the campground would've been busy, it would've been a little cramped- some spots aren't suitable for a trailer so I would call ahead to make sure. We have an 25' airstream trailer and fit fine in our spot and the view is unbelievable. #37 next to us is also great in view and space. Back to the bathrooms- they need to separate the out-house styled hole-in-the-ground toilets from the showers. I'm sure the combination of the steam from the showers and the feces sitting there all day- in hot weather on top of it), is making this lethal smell. There isn't any ventilation. I understand they aren't going to be prestine but this was another level teetering on unbearable. On the other hand, the view from our spot totally made up for the gross bathroom, I will say. If we would've been at a different spot or if it had been busier, I'm not sure I would've enjoyed our time as much here.

So much fun! Large private camp sites if you book early, we had a great weekend! Restroom was clean! Amazing trails!
