the hotel is old but my room was fairly clean. Very friendly staff and i enjoyed my visit until the very last morning of my stay. I stayed for five nights. On the last morning of my stay, I left the room to go downstairs and eat breakfast and discovered a drunk man, who appeared homeless, lying in the hall. He was hidden in an area near the vending machines. It was 6am and this was on the very top floor of the hotel. He asked me to come over and drink with him (disgusting). I immediately went downstairs to the front desk to report the problem and was told that there wasn't anyone available to check it out and they would send someone at 7am to handle it. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't understand why there wasn't some type of security on the premises and felt the desk attendant could have at least called the police. I decided to go back up and get my things so I could get out of there. The drunken man was still there and several cleaning ladies were in the rooms working with the doors opened. I thought the man could possibly go into one of the rooms and assault one of the women. I tried to alert them but they paid me no attention. I went back downstairs and told the desk attendant I thought she should find someone to assist this man off the property because members of here staff could possibly be in danger. almost an hour later, after I finished my breakfast, i learned that the police had just arrested the man. They told me they were sorry for any inconvenience. One of the employees took my bag to my car and told me that the same man had somehow gained access to a locked utility closet and frightened one of the cleaning ladies who walked in and found him. this happened after i had reported what I saw. The hotel was nice but this place is dangerous. The fact that someone off the street can come in and sleep in the hall unnoticed and then immediate action is not taken is alarming.

I stay here a lot when I'm visiting for work. Older Holiday inn express but kept up nicely. The staff is amazing. They go out of their way every chance they get. Unfortunately many others have found this hotel. I can't always get last minute rooms. Rooms are big with great bed. Breakfast is always good and they have ice water I can fill my bottle before leaving. Shuttle to ohare as well

Sweet and kind Hardy employees go out with Waze to satisfied all there just especially the maintenance department as well as all the other employees as well very sweet and generous people always there to satisfy their guess and accommodate them the best way they can they go out their way to provide the bus service one could provide an excellent place for a night or two of getaway don't take it from me stop in and see for yourself until then have a sweet and blessed day I gave this hotel a five star accommodation stopping someday and see if for yourself

Great rooms as always with holiday Inn express. The breakfast was good and the folks at the front desk were great. Wifi was terrible, had to use my own cellular AP.

The pool is dirty. I chose this hotel specifically because it had a pool and I'm traveling on business with kids. When I asked at the front desk the first night because there was a sign in the door, the agent said to ignore the sign and that the problem had been fixed. When we went in the water was murky and I wouldn't let the kids in it. The next day I inquired and the agent said he had no idea when they would fix it but that the other agent should never have told us it was safe to go in.
