Heater did not work in our room. Called the front desk and they sent a man to come look at it. The man that came said that he would work to get it fixed. After 45 minutes, i called the front desk and the woman stated that the man said he got it taken care of. After that, she moved us to a different room. Just would havr been nice to come to a room to relax and not have to stress about a cold room and waiting around. Overall, the room was awesome. Nice view.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 day stay at this hotel.  It is located in a scenic setting and away from high traffic areas, yet within a couple of miles to shopping, restaurants and the airport.  It was quiet, no noise in the hallways or nearby rooms.  There is plenty of parking, the staff was helpful & friendly.  The room was very nice, clean & spacious; plenty of towels and pillows.  The most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on.  I would love to know what type of mattress they have in this hotel.  I would buy one for my home.  The cleaning staff kept my room clean & neat.  The breakfasts are good,  however, half the time the juice machine was out of orange juice if I went down after 9am.  The lobby is clean, bright and comfortable.  My only complaint I have is, the tub in my room was rather slippery when showering.  I was glad there was a safety bar in the tub.  I will definitely stay at Holiday Inn on Sable Drive the next time I visit Portland, Maine.

I stayed two nights at the Holiday Inn Express in South Portland. Overall the stay was good the rooms are large and there is plenty of room to get work done. The staff is friendly and they offer a shuttle to the surrounding area within a 2-mile radius. Overall I was happy with my stay

Rooms were great. Location is fantastic. Nice breakfast included in the morning. Will definitely be looking here first next time I'm in the area.

Excellent location , friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no sink in the kitchen area. It's unsanitary to use the same sink to brush your teeth and wash your dishes.
