This is possibly the worst campground ever! It has great potential, with the view, but the management and many of the people there believe that they are running some third-world country. The management states to those who they don't favor(who don't kiss their butts) that the tenants' friends will be prosecuted for trespassing for visiting them. On a side note, I called the Wakulla County Sheriff's Department on this issue, and they stated that this is not a violation of law to visit people in the park, and they WON'T prosecute for this. The backwoods manager, clearly lacking an education and believes that she is somehow lawyer, judge and president of the place, rather than a business manger whose goal should be to maximize their income and quality of life for persons living there. Unless you'd like to be in a remake of the movie, "Deliverance", I'd suggest you keep driving. This used to be a lovely place, but the permanent people that lived there have been leaving in droves due to annoying, drunk tenants, who are favored by the management. Until management changes, this place is going to continue its descent. Edit: in fairness, I see that they have changed their management and it is looking better again. Hopefully those dark days are behind them.

Super easy to get to, woman on the phone was short but kind to us. The spots are incredibly close together. To the point where we weren’t comfortable eating dinner on the table in our spot because it was so close to the people next to us. It was pretty expensive ($45) for one night.

Great location. Beautiful views. Small older outdated facilities with very narrow sites. The staff was helpful. Bathhouse old but clean. Can’t beat the proximity to the water. We found that there are a lot of long term campers here. Some of the long term folks seem to think they own the place and are rude, and definitely unfriendly. We stayed 3 nights in a 26 ft TT, which were only ok. We’ve stayed at much worse but also much better. Given that, the price was reasonable but think we might try someplace else if we return to the area.

We rather enjoyed this place....both times were right next to the water, with ample space for the picnic table behind the camper. Restrooms were not as clean as they should be and we did not use the pool as it was too cold. Wifi was ok. We would go back as it was pretty quiet and the management was good to us.

The one star is a gift. Constant radio blaring from the 5th wheel next to us. Seasonal renters on the other side constantly fighting out in front of their trailer. More trailer park than campground. Many folks come here year after year and they run this place .... right into the ground. There are other options nearby. These people are ready for their 15 minutes on the Jerry Springer Show. As for the park, if it isn't broken it's filthy. Move along ...
