Perry KOA

Story

The Big Bend area offers fishing, hunting, canoeing, scalloping (July–Sept.) and unspoiled beaches just a short drive away. The Perry KOA is the perfect place to call home while you explore northern Florida. The tent and RV sites are spacious. Super large sites are available if you need extra room. Cabins, Cottages and Park Models are also available. There's a playground for the kids, a hot tub for the adults and a solar-heated pool for all. Be sure to challenge the family to a game of mini golf on the new 18-hole course. Other amenities include a snack bar, clubhouse, outdoor pavilion and fitness room. Organized activities are held during the winter season. Call to plan your next event, large or small.

Good experience. Friendly staff. 24hr laundry/showers/restrooms. Pool, dog park, mini golf. Fire pits at tent site. I would go here again. EDIT: After visiting Naples/Marco Island KOA, I've added another star. Great for tents. Location is 20 minutes from gulf coast. Great set up and friendly staff.

Kind and helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere. The new owners are clearly working on fixing any (and all) areas in need of improvement. Happy to have found a warm, relaxing spot!

My better half and I travel full-time for work (we see home about 2 weeks a year) and we usually shy away from KOA's but we are so happy we chose Perry KOA! We have been here since January and will be here until sometime in August...in late March new owners took over and WOW!.. what a difference a few weeks can make! They are steady making improvements and could not be more accommodating! During the day you can always find Brian and Debbie out in the campground visiting with everyone while doing their daily chores...they really treat you like family. Laundry is even relaxing under the moss covered oaks in the air conditioned Laundry Cabin ($1.75 washers and $1.50 for 45 min dryer) and with it's close proximity to the pool doing laundry while sunning will be easy! (Pool is currently (4/29/18) closed for maintenance) The playground is just behind the laundry room and there's a horseshoe pit close by. The majority of the lots are spacious and easy to access... overnight and short term a tad smaller than a long-term... the campground speed limit is 5 mph and is strictly enforced due to children, walkers, bicycles, and dogs being walked. The bathhouse is cleaned daily and I've never found it dirty in retrospect to sanitization...I have found it where guests have left it rather untidy but Brian and Debbie are quick to put it right! There IS a sometimes rather unpleasant odor at night but that can't be helped as it's from the paper mill a few miles away and the smell is gone rather quickly. Whether you are looking for an overnight spot or a monthly this campground offers a lot...budget friendly, 24 hour laundry, clean well lit bathhouse and campground, better than average WiFi...(no huddling around the office trying to get signal)... basic cable and a very warm and friendly staff that has made me and my crew feel like we are at home with family!

This Koa has new owners and they are the BEST! Super nice and they are working hard to provide the best accomodations available. The internet works good and they are keeping the place spotless. Come and stay here you won’t be disappointed!!

This KOA is a good stop if you are heading up to North Florida. It was clean and quiet. The playground was really old and I was very hesitant to let my children play on it because of that reason. Other than that, it was an okay campground to spend for a night.
