More than 1,200 workers will be hired this summer to work at Michigan's many state parks, recreation areas, state forest campgrounds, boating access sites and harbors. Part-time and full-time employment is available, with an opportunity to work up to 1,040 hours during the summer season.

Job responsibilities may include handling permit sales in a contact booth, registering camps, clerical work, trail maintenance, mowing, landscaping and janitorial duties.
Seasonal employees (State Workers) are paid a minimum of $8.15/hour and may work up to 1,040 hours. Candidates should be 18 and older and be willing to work weekends and evenings.
Interested individuals must complete an Employment Application Form #PR-7123e and submit it to the park/recreation area or boating facility where they would like to work.
