Great accommodation for the price. Rooms very well appointed and the hotel is nicely designed. The morning breakfast layout isn't well designed from an efficient pick up process and the offerings are a bit limited compared to Hampton. You need a good GPS to find the hotel as it is located in a new development. Word of caution about staying in South Dakota,the room taxes are horrendous. I the case of this hotel, $16 on a $ 94 room. Still really liked the place

Great place to stay when visiting Rushmore and Black Hills area. Rooms are large and Very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast is ample and very convenient. Very close to downtown Rapid City. A perfect choice and great value. Kudos to the staff here as well. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is really nice! Garret, the hotel manager couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel has a water park (great for kids) and to top it off, it is pet friendly!!!! We are looking forward to our next stay!

The room design is very nice. Lots of counter,cupboard, and drawer space.. los of outlets. And I loved being able to wash and dry clothes for 50cents each load I just brought laundry pods with me and didn't have to pack as much clothes, which saved room in the car. The staff was very friendly both the day and night shift staff. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't a regular pool. After a hot day of being a tourist sometimes you just want a quick dip in a pool and don't want to pay for a whole water park experience. Which also disappointed me. Where I'm from when you stay at a hotel you get free water park tickets even hotels that don't have water parks usually give tickets to you for a water park. So I wasn't expecting to have to pay so that is why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5

The guest suites are open and spacious with all the amenities of home. There is a small patio out front, with two well-kept gas grills for cooking. Parking is plentiful and well suited for RVs and trailers. The staff are friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the breakfast area. The arrangement is just not adequate for the number of guests at this property. This hotel has 107 suites, probably averaging 4 people each. The breakfast area simply could not accommodate 400 people. It was utter chaos every morning. Everything was running out. The coffee pot (yes - only one) was constantly empty. Three employees were working their tails off, but had no hope of keeping up with the onslaught of guests wanting breakfast. There are only two waffle makers, and the line was easily 8 to 10 long at at each. Plan on standing in line for 20 to 30 minutes to make a waffle. I honestly think the management should consider taking out a couple guest rooms and reconfiguring the breakfast area to actually handle the number of guests at this hotel. At the very least, you could let breakfast run until 10 a.m. to help alleviate the crowding. Cutting breakfast off at 9 a.m. is really pretty ridiculous.
