Hominy had everything one could hope for in a Charleston spot. The atmosphere was clean and cozy, the staff were friendly and energetic, and the food was on point. The Charleston red rice proved to be excellent, and the drinks were wonderful. Desert included a Buttermilk pie that shattered my table's expectations of what a Buttermilk pie could be. Hominy makes you feel alive again, and reminds one constantly that grits really are good for you. -NG

Great fresh granola. Yogurt not too sweet which made a good combo with the bananas. The pancakes were fluffy and light.

About a 15 minute wait for a table. I promise it's worth it. Surprisingly fast service for how busy they were on a Sunday. Charleston nasty biscuit and chocolate pudding is a great combo. Note to self: Rutledge IS a one way street!

From the atmosphere, to the staff, to the food...everything was excellent! We recieved great service and menu suggestions from our waiter. It was well worth it!

Absolutely amazing food. Their signature dishes are well deserving of the hype, especially the Shrimp & Grits and the Charleston Nasty Biscuit which is a piece of fried chicken between a high biscuit smothered in some delicious gravy. And the service is what you expect in the South, kind, friendly, and very attentive!
