I've ate here only on one occasion and really enjoyed the meal.  I ordered their rib-eye steak with a Caesar side.  The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and was possibly the tastiest steak I've ever eaten.  The salad was also very tasty, too.  It was a finely chopped salad bursting with texture and flavor.  

I finally ordered the Chocolate Mousse Cake which again, was absolutely perfect.  It was served with a generous helping of warm ganache and could have served more than two --though somehow I managed to stuff the entire thing down my throat.

The restaurant and staff had a formal setting with three tiered flatware and glasses --even the servers serve on the correct side.  They were extremely efficient and very knowledgeable about the menu.

The restaurant had an À la carte pricing structure and was pretty expensive, though the taste of the food could easily justify the price.

I'd certainly recommend this place.

One of our favorite restaurants in Charleston. Fantastic food, ambiance and service! We love the wet aged steaks and oyster options. The dry ice cocktails are fun and delicious!

Great ambiance but food underwhelmed. Ribeye was bland along with the hash browns. Big portions but nothing we wanted to finish. Dessert was not different, cinnamon doughnuts were like hush puppies covered in honey. Proceed with caution.

My new favorite when asked where would I like to go for Mother's Day there was no hesitation. The staff is incredible. Love introducing my family to Grill 225.

This is our family's go to place to celebrate!  Love the staff and the high class atmosphere!  The staff are fun and knowledgeable!  Go ready to spend money but it is worth it!!
